Trapped in a cage,

She could never see coming..

The cage made of nothing,

Nothing that was once her everything..

She can’t see it,

But it can be felt all day long….

Packed with strength,

It makes her feel weak..

Keeps her away from happily moving..

Keeps her entangled in those thoughts,

Thoughts of the memories that deserve to be forgotten ..

She feels robbed..

Robbed of her own confidence and happiness,

She tries to be her own saviour ..

But defeating her heart isn’t going to be easy,

She knows there has been a lot,

The lot that is still consuming her..

She doesn’t want to stay,

But she can’t even go….

She feels engulfed,

Engulfed in something she can’t see..
