Oh, sleeping inner-self,
Save me, please…
Save me from the self,
The self I become on getting hurt…
The self that finds itself weak when in reality is very strong…
Save me, please….
I don’t want to be what I am not,
Be it the agitated self that I become at times,
Or…
The little kid that gets drown in emotions easily…
Save me, please…
For the life is too short,
And, I don’t want to spend it with regrets…
Wake up,
And,
Save me, oh dear inner-self…
