Distractions Help!

Hi guys, how are you doing? I hope you all are doing great. Well, you must have been into a situation wherein you end up thinking about a particular thing and it left you mad. This happens, happens a lot of time in life, but isn’t something good to stick to. You must have heard people saying distractions are bad, but I don’t agree with the same. You know what, it’s the distractions only that can save you from depression.

Well, in life, shit happens, and we can’t stop it from hitting our heart hard, but this doesn’t mean we can help our self. For example, you had a breakup, right, what would be your reaction? Of course, heartbreak, sadness, loneliness and what not, but they aren’t supposed to stay for long in your heart or mind. I know, it becomes very difficult to avoid them, but listen to me very carefully, it is exactly the stage wherein distractions can help. Yes, you are reading it absolutely right. I have been there, done that, and after been through such a kind of phase-only, I have realized that the distractions that seem useless, are in fact quite helpful. They help free your mind from the dark thoughts and your heart from the ill gloomy feelings.

It could be anything, be it that kid in your neighborhood, or your favorite video game; be it your long lost creative hobby, or the wagging tail, the pooch at home who loves you unconditionally, distraction could be anything. Just give distractions a chance, and they will pull you out even from the darkest clouds.

You might wonder, why this happens? Well, I think I have an answer to this. All of us are rich in energy, our minds have the power to do the unimaginable, and our hearts possess the feelings that can make us achieve anything in life, but the problem arises when all of these are focused on a single thing. When things are going good, we don’t realize all such things, but when we are going through a bad phase, we become every of every bit of energy we possess, alas, therein they are dedicated to devastate you.

So, the crux is, we are capable of doing any and everything we dedicatedly work for. It’s just that when life throws shit at us, we keep our focus on analyzing every bit of that shit, and why it happened to us. Instead, we should let distraction in, the more we will channelize that overflowing energy the better we can do to ourselves. So, my take is, distractions help, they help you when even you fail to help yourself.

On this note, I am here with some short and powerful reminders:

  • Don’t let any particular thing or a person become the center of your life.
  • Make it a habit to add variety to your life.
  • No matter what don’t let self-love get weaken.
  • Remember life is beautiful.
  • Don’t forget that you can’t know the result of anything until you give it a try.
  • Love your imperfections for they are the ones that make you different from others. Everybody is unique.
  • You won’t get this moment, minute, hour, day, and life again. Make the most of everything.
  • Spend some time in fresh air, amid nature.
  • Never lose hope, never.
  • Last but not the least, don’t forget to smile.

With this, I am wrapping up for now and will get back with some other topic soon. Good day fellas.

Keep Smiling.

Happy Reading.
