Playing safe,

With right prior precautions,

Never did I expect,

A bouncer right in my face….

Carefully nurtured baby of mine,

Out of nowhere got clutched in cancer…

Amid the life’s happy journey,

Tumor erupted as an indigestible twist….

That wagging tail of my pooch,

 All of a sudden got weighed down by the scary disease…

Leaving his active body lethargic,

And smiling face faded by the pain….
