Artificial Intelligence has already penetrated many industries, and this will pick pace in 2020. Over the years we have seen an unprecedented increase in the number of applications and platforms based on AI technologies. With the onset of an increasing number of technology frameworks that can develop knowledge, AI will reach a step closer to imitate how humans work.
Currently in its infancy, AI technology will grow at an ever-increasing pace in 2020, while disrupting industries on a wide scale. With businesses realizing the benefits of adopting intelligent automation, AI will get all the limelight in the years to come, with companies looking forward to incorporate it in their critical business tasks.
I definitely fall into the camp of thinking of AI as augmenting human capability and capacity.
What do you think? Are there any chances of intelligent machine that can replace you at your workplace? What are the major AI trends that will disrupt nearly all the industries in 2020?
- Convergence of AI and Other Leading Technologies Ahead
It won’t be a cakewalk for AI in the big business world, with discussions regarding its security and safety already underway in the tech world for now. For that matter, convergence of AI with Blockchain and IoT is going to be the next big trend as you slide into 2020. Together, these disruptive technologies will make the dream stack in terms of security and safety that businesses will require to outpace their competitors in the ever-changing and demanding business scenario.
- Manage Real-Time Customer Interactions
Marketing teams will be among the key users of AI, with companies likely to incorporate machine learning as they strive to understand more than the global market. AI-enabled predictive analytics will allow companies find hidden insights that influence consumer behavior, critical data points and recognize key purchase trends to develop engaging content and impactful strategy. AI will drive real-time customer interactions.
- AI will Hit Traditional Industries Hard
As we head towards 2020, more and more organizations have realized AI as a survival tool. With the introduction of automated vehicles, automakers are hard-pressed to evolve, or they will fade away becoming irrelevant in no time. The disruption will be so profound that even the AI leaders like Google and other tech giants are finding it necessary to form alliances with core AI-dedicated startups.
- 2020 will be the Year of AI-Assistants
AI assistants, such as Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, and Cortana have already made a place for themselves with their proficiency at streamlining mundane sales and customer service tasks. By the end of 2020, voice searches will undoubtedly take a center stage.
- AI- Powered Cybersecurity Systems
The cyber attacks are increasing at an unprecedented pace defeating existing defensive measures. AI-enabled cyber-threat hunting is a proactive way to detect potential attackers and prevent any criminal activities. Machine learning will allow companies to detect security-breaches seamlessly.
Over the years, technologies’ pace of change has had a significant impact on nearly every industry. With that said, keeping a tap on the latest technologies and trends is not enough, you must strive to stay one step ahead to outpace your competitors. Stay attuned to us, and we will keep you updated about the latest technology trends.

I believe AI will create more jobs than it will take away. It is interesting to see how it is coming through.
