Into the dust of our own,
We remain lost,
For long days & nights…
Thinking about the what-ifs,
We let the present slip away from our life…
Brimming with ‘why’s’ in life,
We never realize the little fulfilling things…
Is it the make of life,
Or we delve way too much into something,
Or someone…
God knows,
Who gave us a heart,
To feel and express…
But
A mind too,
For the constant supply of if only’s…
During the dark night,
When the heart aspires to shine…
It is hit by the memories of bygones,
That feast on the NOWS of our life…
Such a happy yet hopelessly emotional journey life is,
Constantly monitored by the web of thoughts that,
This mind endlessly generates!

You are amazing dear Kavya. I enjoyed your words and your artwork. I believe. Everything we do, good and bad. Someday, we must account for.
